Join our #FacebookLIVE on Thursday 8pm!On that day the world's first #trial for state torture in #Syria will begin in Germany. The accused are Anwar R. and Eyad A. - two former functionaries of the General Intelligence Directorate of Syria's President Bashar al-Assad. The accusation: crimes against humanity, torture, murder and rape.

Khaled Rawas is a Syrian activist who was also in prison. He survived the torture. Since then, he has repeatedly drawn attention to the atrocities in Syria.

He will be present at the #firstday of the trial and share his first #impressions with us on Thursday evening at #8pm via Facebook-Live.
